Review Of Product Enterprise Skydiver

Product Enterprise has made many great models, and
with Skydiver they really made a masterpiece. I'm
astonished by its attention to detail. There really is
nothing else like it. Anyway, now a little bit about
Skydiver itself. It is a hi-tech submarine used by the SHADO
Organisation, to help in its fight against an alien menace,
oh and it has a jet fighter in its bow. Anyway, back to the
review.
It has been packaged in an attractive window box so it
can be seen in all its glory. When you take it out it out of
its box you can tell it's very well made as it weighs a lot,
and when I say that, I mean a lot. It's a very subsantial
piece of metal, also it is about 12" long. It has oodles of
detail about it and is completely astonishing from the tip
of the nosecone to the end of the tail. Of course the Sky 1
detaches, but unlike their Fireball XL5, it isn't magnetically
connected to the rest of the model. In the Sky 1 there is a
figure of Capt. Peter Carlin. It even has a texture in the
paint to make it look as if it has droplets of water on it. But as with any model it has some issues. Firstly
has had bits of grey paint sprayed on, partly obscuring some of the (otherwise very good) decals. Also the wings on Sky 1 have rather conspicuious plastic bits on them. This was the first sign the company was starting to decline in quality.
Overall I give it a 8.5/10 as it has so much detail but it does have its foybles. Despite all this I still highly recommend it but, there is a hitch. As they are such great models and are not currently in production they are very expensive and can go up to £275!
